such an old place, from the noisy heating pipes to the cramped en suite. i expected a complimentary gesture for that inconvenience, but alas, i was just another guest. oh, and those tiny tea cups? absolutley laughable. i almost thought about giving a good review, but no, they're just not ready for high expectations.

Pure dead brilliant place! Karen's hospitality was braw, making us feel right at hame. Loved the full English breakfast, though it could've been a wee bit more filling. The location was cracking, just a short jaunt to the lake. A wee tricky parking spot, mind ye.

Here’s the bottom line
A warm and inviting atmosphere with exceptional service. Breakfast is delightful with plenty of options, and the owners are truly accommodating. The walk into town is picturesque but be prepared for a busy road! Rooms are clean but could use some modernization. A charming place to unwind after exploring the stunning surroundings.

We stayed at this cozy spot with my dad and enjoyed easy access to the lovely village, just a short walk from the guesthouse. There are some toys in the lounge that kept my kids entertained while we relaxed during breakfast.
My wife says that the cleanliness could use significant improvement.

I had a great trip with my friends! The place was clean, and both the location and service were top-notch. We enjoyed exploring nearby attractions and took long walks to the lake. Karen was super helpful and made our stay feel special. Breakfast was delicious too!
The only downside was the parking situation. it was a bit tight when more cars were around, which could become a hassle for some guests.
